Loading...The Westin Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali recently had the honour to host the first International Spa, Herbs & Natural Cosmetics Exhibitions, Eden of the East from 29 November to December 2, 2006
The purpose of the fair is to highlights products of Indonesia Herbs and Natural Cosmetic together with its various methods of Spa therapy. The exhibition brings together spa resorts and hotel owners, beautician, heath therapists, franchisors, importers and distributors, and other business related in spa industry. It showcased various herbal and natural cosmetics products from Indonesia, which has been known across the world as a country rich in natural and traditional herbs and spices. The exposure of these products is very much in line with the current trend of “back to nature” concept.
Recently, heath and beauty care therapy has been very popular, not only among matured age and elite community, but it is also popularly exercised by young generation. During last couple of years, Indonesian medical herb and cosmetic industries have been growing. The commodities have been exported to may countries around the world. In 2005 Indonesia exported medical herbs to more than 80 countries with a total value of US$ 7 millions in the same year.
By having this exhibition in Bali, where a great number of overseas tourist are enjoying their holiday, Indonesian herbs and cosmetic products as well as Spa therapy will attract more overseas consumers.
