Please can you give me the correct area codes for each of the tourist information offices you have listed above. Surely the phone number for Gianyar should be a six-digit number? Also, I have tried calling the Klungkung number (with the area code 0366) but the number appears to be incorrect, can you let me know the new number? I look forward to hearing from you, I need this information as soon as possible for publication in an international guidebook to Bali.

I am going to have my wedding in Bali through a local agency named
Bali Exotic Wedding, may I know if it is reliable and their
    Reputation? Thanks a lot!

I am absolutly disguisted that a country that bases itself on tourism has no respect for tourists. I was ripped off by money changers, my friend had his wallet stolen from his villa then went to police station to report it , the officer would not give him a copy of the report to claim on travel insurance until he paid a bribe. Thailand I will go back tomorrow , but bali , will never return. I will tell everyone who listens about this , and one guy has already changed his holiday destination. Pick your act up, or suffer over the next few years as people talk and your corruption is out of control.

Planning a trip to Bali/Gillimanuk in July 17.

I have heard about a fast boat service Denpasar to Gillimanuk. Is there a site that details the service/schedules/departure and arrival points etc etc?

Even a telephone number may assist.

    Bill. 23/03/17.

Me and my family stayed in your Country a year ago, there was 15 of us which spent a lot of money on our holiday but we had a wonderful time.Tonight on our National news there was an investigation into the selling of dog meat on the streets and in restaurants of your Country, in the filming of this investigation it followed and filmed the killing and torture of the dogs, how they are bound and put in pits until they are either poisoned or bludgeoned to death, I cannot describe the disgust I felt of this practise, never again will I see Bali as a peaceful holiday destination and we will be not be coming back.

I would like to bring to your notice the rude and unethical behaviour that we have received from Sofitel Nusa Dua.

We has booked non refundable dates of October 27th -30th in August with Sofitel Nusa Dua. Little did we knew that Mount Agung will become Active during the last week of September. We were scheduled to travel with our 1 year old baby to celebrate her first birthday. Seeing the report of possible volcanic eruption we became apprehensive to travel at this time.

But the reservation staff at Sofitel is not ready to co operate with us. They just want to deduct 50% of the money already paid to them in advance just because we are apprehensive to travel at these dates. This is highly unjust and unethical of them.

Singapore Airlines was gracious enough to give full refund on our tickets due this situation of possible volcanic eruption. The other property in Seminyak has also issued us full credit note keeping our packages absolutely same giving us time to visit them in next 8 months.

I am writing to you so that you can intervene with the Sofitel Hotel and help me out. Looking at their present behaviour of torturing their guest, it seems I have done a big mistake in making my vacation plans to Bali.
Even India has issued a travel advisory for their citizens, so I am not completely being wrong of my family’s and my little baby’s safety apprehensions.

I would be obliged if you could help me out in this regard.

I just got back from a two week holiday in Bali mostly we had a great time till the last couple of days when we tried to get out ,the airport was closed and we had to keep going back and forth from our hotel the cab drivers would ask for between $5.00 all the way to $15.00 for the same ride and then we were ripped off by a money changer for $10.00 ,we will never go back.

Please verify whether KCBJ tours is a reputable agency in Bali. I am working with them to create a retreat in September this year. I have enjoyed their assistance for over 18 months and would like to have your reassurance. Your email address posted on this site does not work.
    Thank you.
